Podolepis jaceoides - Showy Podolepis
 
A very ornamental species with large bright yellow daisy flowerheads on slender stems, rising from a basal rosette of dark green narrow hairless leaves. Endangered in the wild, it prefers moist well drained basalt soils. Flowers in spring and early summer but extra moisture may extend flowering time.
