Acacia paradoxa - Hedge wattle
A dense thorny shrub with small dark green leaves. Large ornamental golden yellow ball flowers in profusion during spring. Suitable for most situations in well drained soils. An excellent bird habitat plant, often used as a replacement for boxthorn in revegetation works. Avoid planting near pathways because of its thorns.
