Acacia implexa – Lightwood
 
A graceful tree with an opencrown. Sickle shaped green leaves, with rough bark and clusters of cream yellow flowers in summer. Usually found on dry sites along watercourses, stoney rises and on valley slopes. Very hardy drought tolerant species that copes well in exposed environments.
